My alarm went at 05:15 and I took my time getting up. As I had breakfast I watched the sunrise, and thought not just about last night but the day ahead. I dedcided not to run this morning, which meant it was a later start to the day. It was handy as it was also raining heavy, so knew that anything I did today would be best being indoors. It’d rained over night, and I found some of the ground to be slippery under foot when I went out for my 5K run at 06:20, before breakfast. It was humid though, and threatened to rain again. Cyprus Day 1
As soon as I arrived back in Cyprus I headed straight to Nicosia to start seeing new sights immediately. This would be a very packed couple of days, but hopefully worth it.

Cyprus
At last the second part of my Cyprus trip was in sight. Last time I'd visited Paphos, the Troodos mountains, Limassol, and Larnaca. This time I would visit Nicosia/Leftkosa and Northern Cyprus before finally doing the half marathon I'd booked for 2020.

I covered over 18 miles on foot today, not having realised it'd be a long hike between two of the sights. Time tables for busses were against me as well, and it left me wondering whether I'd manage to see everything I wanted to.

I took the bus to Amathus, and then hired a bike to cycle around the far side of the salt lake to Akrotiri, and then back.

This was a slow day with the only goal to get from Paphos to Limassol using the Intercity bus. Anything else would be a bonus.

Cyprus Day 3
Today I covered twenty miles on foot, seeing all of the sights in Paphos that I could find. It was a warm day too, but I managed to stay hydrated, took my time when I could, and tried to take it all in.

Today I took a tour bus that started in the flooded streets of Paphos, and finished up in the Troodos Mountains, visiting villages and waterfalls.
