Peru

The Land of the Incas

On a mountain trail high in the Andes lies the long lost Inca city of Machu Picchu (located 2,400 meters / 7,875 ft above sea level) – lost until 1911 when it was found by Hiram Bingham. Peru was the home of the Inca people and other civilisations before it. There are so many sights to see in Peru from the enigmatic Nasca lines and geoglyphs to the magnificent Machu Picchu.
