I did the Boston (UK) marathon back in April, and that really hadn’t gone to plan with all the wind and rain on the day. Myself and Carmen have visited Cyprus multiple times before, and we've both explored Larnaca to a degree as well. Last time I'd visited I'd seen more or less everything I'd wanted to in a day, and felt there wasn't really anything left to see. A horrendously early start to the day would get us into Cyprus a little after midday so we'd have some time to settle before a couple of relaxing days ahead of race day. It didn't help I appeared to have the start of a cold.
